The tech is gonna try to install what is easiest and quickest for him. He has a whole route to complete and a set time to complete it. Just my two bucks worth. Tech came over for the uverse install…on time and as scheduled. Put up the outside box but no juice from the line so install couldnt be completed. Two other techs were sent out over a 3 day period working on it. Ive since rescheduled and waiting for the 2nd attempt. Keeping my fingers crossed everything goes smoothly. Once current U-verse commitments expire the prices for the same plans are sky rocketing in the Houston market. That was the deciding factor for me to cut the cord. We went to U-Verse to get a way from Dish Network and were the only one to offer stations we wanted.
They are also offering new deals for U-Verse right now. Was really easy to find. I had U-Verse for about a year now and I love it. My internet connection is great, I have no problems watching videos. But, three weeks ago my receiver downstairs stopped working.
Or more like it took me to up to U-Verse on demand, and I could still change channels, but after a minute or so it would turn off and restart the process.
In the end I had to order a new receiver and even though it says connection was successful, it turns off about a min or so too. I already call tech support and even chatted with an agent. I followed every step but nothing. Now, they told me that the new receiver that came in might not be working and they told me to order another one. It was fine for a year, now I feel that screwing me over.
