Valor is not be confused with Valor Points At the start of Warlords of Draenor , Valor Points were removed, and later in the expansion, they were completely taken out of the currency tab. Why bring back Valor Points now?

I do have a nice roster of L30 mons though, but like many, I am strapped for stardust. So you want to reduce XP gained? I have no idea why are you even complaining. Not all have the luxury of having players especially in a small town. We can't train anymore If you want to attack gyms be my guest but if you're living in a small town and the turnover is pretty much low, it's already out of the question.

Yes, one is given out for free but for a normal raid and for a Legendary raid seems pretty reasonable. Now if you have a problem with 10k per legendary pass, go back to my 1st argument. Nah, I don't see any problem with that. XP has always been devaluated in this game. Level has always been almost irrelevant compared to choosing the right match up SE damage, DPS , etc. Remember before Blissey, when gyms level 10 could be taken down by level 20 mons?

You just needed to select the right typing to counter the defenders. Wait 30 minutes for a raid to start. Get the legendary running from you, with no TMs to your bag XP may have meant something when level 10 towers became stagnant. That's about it. There is little benefit in having a high xp count.

Personally I never cared about XP. Just a guess: a level 20 can take any gym. And there are 20 more levels to go. Therefore: XP gain may have gotten easier, but the benefit has decreased. All in all, nothing won, nothing lost. Another point: XP means nothing without stardust.

So , if you level via raids, you're basically fucking yourself over. If I can get a nice bunch of XP from a raid, fine. If not, I don't care. After that, no need for XP anymore. My guess is, you don't like that gaining XP was harder for you and now some greenhorns reap easy profit. I can't find a guide for this anywhere.

To be more specific: How much guild xp would be gained given the following circumstances? It makes more sense to record the amount of xp given per person.

That way the amount of guild xp can be extrapolated exactly based on the number of guildies in the run. The amount of guild experience awarded varies. It is depended on specific factors The amount gained from each boss scales with your level relative to the boss's level, with Heroic bosses worth even more 1. It pays off to have a full group of guild members! All of these assume you were in a guild group.

The comp of the guild group doesn't matter 4 or 5 guildies. I realize this is incomplete, but it's the best answer so far. It's from my own in-game experience. Feel free to comment with your findings and I'll add them here.

You will get level 25 in a about a honest year, just like everyone else. Adding more people to the guild helps with days where people might not all be online.

That's about it. Sign up to join this community. Daily quests, random Scenarios, random Heroic dungeons, and all levels of raiding will reward Valor. Valor will be used to purchase ilvl gear in Mists of Pandaria. Revered reputation with each faction will be required. Both Valor and Justice vendor, but if you didnt know they require faction unlocks means factions must be revered of all MoP places.

Also on that note, some of the factions give epic items when gaining Exalted with the faction. Requirements on Blue items doesnt need Faction reputation, and not all VP gear requires a faction rep.

Comment by Asisya The coords for Vendors is correct, but You don't have to be of any specific rep to use your Justice Points there. At least not from what I can tell. I am only exalted with Lorewalkers and the Hozen and can purchase all items from the Justice Vendor.

You don't have to be exalted in all Factions in order to buy from the Valor Vendor. Some rep is needed for items, but it is specific rep from a specific faction. Some items you have to be honored with the Golden Lotus and some you have to be revered with the August Celestials and so on and so forth. You just have to fly there to check it out yourself if you don't know the gear you are looking for to look it up here on Wowhead. Comment by indyfan Here is some information regarding the reputation required to acquire each MoP VP item.

Note, you don't have to go to the quartermaster to purchase each item; Commander Oxheart in Townlong Steppes has all 92 VP gear items, but you still have to have the appropriate standing with the appropriate faction in order to purchase the item. All items are in the VP range. Comment by Horat Note that you will not receive Valor Points Questrewards if you reached your weekle cap, even though the quest rewards and description tell you that. Comment by on my 2nd level 90 character, an orc shamen i am not getting vp for dailys and heroic dunggeons.

My main isnt maxed out either. Comment by stym I noticed something cool about the Valor of the Ancients buff last night and I don't know if it is intended: I reached the weekly cap, logged back in after dailies reset AM server time and I still had the buff on my main character!

The buff had disappeared this morning when I logged back in. In short: This buff may not disappear immediately after the valor cap is reset. If that happens to you, enjoy the valor bonus while it lasts.

Update: This week I also noticed the buff disappeared after a load screen. Play it safe, if you retain the buff after the weekly valor cap resets, do not teleport, hearth, portal, enter an instance or anything else involving a load screen. Post a reply if you experience something different. Edit: Slindy's suggestion is simply excellent: Do the Champions of the Thunder King weekly while that buff is still active, it doesn't require a loading screen and you'll get a whopping 75 extra points!

While you're at it, don't forget to kill some champions of Lei Shen here and there for a 7. Comment by jackal there is a valor point quartermaster at 37, 64 in the townlong steppes that offers gear. Comment by Infantry11bh I love how in pvp related content, I simply need to raise my rating in order to raise my Conq Cap, But there is no way what so ever for me to raise my valor cap.

Seems completely legit.
