So again, if there's a port there, you only need to get the proper cable to connect your firewire device to the PC, though you still haven't mentioned what that device is Hi Ron Yeah i can see the firewire port at the front next to the headphone jack and it says above it but its filled in with a piece of plastic so you cant put a jack into it and when i spoke to dell they said i did not have a firewire port as i didnt get this upgrade when i bought the pc so it looks like i will have to take the pc apart and put in a seperate firewire card at the back of it.
